Payment Instructions

[General Information]

  • Payment Open Date

  • Payments can only be made using a bank account or card in the account holder's name.
  • We ask all customers enrolled in auto-pay (bank, credit card) to check their transaction history, as a duplicate payment may have been processed depending on the monthly payment date.
  • The full payment amount may be different from the amount shown on the billing text message update you received. (Bills reflect charges at the time of inquiry, which may be different from current charges.)
  • When using a payment method different from the card you have enrolled in auto-pay, certain discounts may no longer apply.
  • Partial payments will automatically go toward the oldest unpaid charges first, based on the issue date of the original bill.

[Kakaopay]

  • KakaoPay payments can only be made with "KakaoPay Money," a payment system using prepaid electronic funds.
  • For the payment to be processed, it must be completed through the "KakaoTalk" or "KakaoPay" app.

[NaverPay]

  • NaverPay payments can only be made with "NaverPay Point," a payment system using prepaid electronic funds.
  • For the payment to be processed, it must be completed through the "Naver" app.

[Payco]

  • Payco payments can only be made through "Payco Point," a payment system using prepaid electronic funds.
  • For the payment to be processed, it must be completed through the Payco app.

[Toss Pay]

  • Toss Pay payments can only be made with "Toss Pay Money", a payment system using prepaid electronic funds.
  • For the payment to be processed, it must be completed through the "Toss Pay" app.
  • Toss Pay users can only pay their own bills.

[Simple account transfer]

  • Simple account transfer payments can be made via account transfer in conjunction with the Giro website (www.giro.or.kr).
  • You must complete the payment on the Giro website screen for the payment to be processed successfully.
  • When paying by account transfer, only the payer's own account can be used.

[Real-time Bank Transfer]

  • Payments accepted from 04:00 to 23:00

[Instructions on changing the bill]

  • You can receive the RCS version of your mobile statement by enabling Chat+ on your mobile device. (Excluding iOS devices like iPhones)
    Setting up method: Messages>three dots on the top right>settings>Chat+ settings>Chat+ management>Turn on Chat+

  • Email bill is sent by secure mail.

  • kt.com web bills are web bills that can be viewed through kt.com or the myKT app.

  • If you change the bill format, your existing request for an exemption from receiving bills will be reset.

[Bill shipment date]

*The shipment date can change, depending on circumstances such as public holidays.

  • Text bill (MMS): 10th to 16th
